Kurzzeitprogramm “Cultural Journey: from traditional China to modern Shanghai”
1. Allgemeine Informationen
In order to cope with the impact of COVID-19, Shanghai Jiao Tong University offers “Cultural Journey: from traditional China to modern Shanghai” short term online program sponsored by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation under the Ministry of Education in China. The courses include language course and Chinese culture course, which will enrich the multicultural knowledge of overseas students and lay a good foundation for future studies in China.

5. Wer kann sich bewerben?
All applicants should apply to the following conditions:
1) Non-Chinese citizens, currently located overseas;
2) In good physical and mental conditions, and with good academic performance and conduct;
3) With strong interest in learning Chinese;
4) Between the ages of 18 to 45.

2）Chinese Culture Lectures:
- The discovery of shipwrecks and the maritime Silk Road
- Preventive medicine ideas in Chinese medical classics “Inner Canon of the Yellow Emperor”
- Chinese characters and calligraphy culture
- The Way of Chinese Thinking
- From the Folk Heritage to the Classics on the stage：Chinese Tradition Musical Intrument Performance
- Understanding Shanghai Urban Culture through Shikumen
- Shanghai Cuisine: Heritage and Fusion
7. Zertifikat
Students who have good class attendance（no less than 80%）would be awarded the digital certificate issued by Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
